Landing Rates & Routing

To all Pilots,

Recently we have added a new requirement to our PIREP acceptance.

Starting Sunday 5/31 at 00:00 EST, all rates over -550 feet per minute (FPM) will be REJECTED per section 5.7 of the Airline Operations Handbook!

Additionally, all reports should have the routing taken for the flight posted in the reserved Acars section. Per 5.6 of the Airline Operations Handbook, American Virtual does not allow direct-to GPS routing. If no routing is provided on the report, we will assume it was a direct-to flight and run the risk of being rejected. 

Let’s make sure all reports are accepted!
