American Virtual Launches Discord Integration for Crew Center Access

American Virtual is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Discord integration feature, providing our pilots with a seamless and convenient way to log in to the Crew Center. This innovative system, developed carefully over the past few days, allows pilots to use their Discord accounts to access the Crew Center, enhancing the user experience with added flexibility and ease.

A Seamless Login Experience

With the new Discord integration, pilots can log in to the Crew Center using their Discord credentials. This eliminates the need to remember another password and simplifies the login process. By leveraging the popular communication platform Discord, we aim to make access to our essential resources more straightforward and user-friendly.

Ensuring a Smooth Transition

To take advantage of this new feature, pilots must ensure that the email address associated with their Discord account matches the email address on file with the American Virtual Crew Center. This matching requirement is crucial for the system to recognize and authenticate the pilot’s identity across both platforms.

In cases where the emails do not match, pilots will receive a message prompting them to log in using their regular Crew Center credentials. Once logged in, they can update their email address in their Pilot Profile settings to align with their Discord email. This minor adjustment will enable pilots to enjoy the full benefits of the new Discord integration.

If a pilot does not already have a Discord account, they will be asked to create one during the process flow. At that point, they can choose to proceed with the Discord registration or abandon the procedure.
