New Look for Destinations Map and Flight Details

Greetings AAVA Crews!

The Destinations Map and Flight Details pages in CrewCenter have a fresh look. Bigger airport dots, pulsing hubs, airport search, live ACARS traffic on the map, and weather at a glance on every flight — all aimed at helping you find where we fly and what to expect before you bid.

Destinations Map: Where Do We Fly?

Open the Destinations Map to explore every airport on our network. Bigger dots mean more destinations from that airport, and hubs pulse so you can spot them quickly.

  • Pick an origin: click any airport dot, or find it with the search box by ICAO, city or name (for example KDFW, Dallas or Heathrow).
  • See where it flies: arcs light up to every destination. Click a destination to focus that route and watch the jet fly it. The route card shows distance and how many flights run it.
  • Check the schedules: jump to the schedules table from the route card, then open Details or Bid from there.
  • More tools: switch airline in the dropdown, turn on Toggle ACARS for live flights, use Full screen for a bigger view, and Reset Map to start over. The How it works button walks through the same steps in CrewCenter.

Flight Details: Route, Times and Weather

Flight Details got a cleaner overview too: the route, local and UTC times, distance, block time and aircraft types, plus a clearer route map with the planned route and waypoints.

Weather dots show the latest METAR at each airport, colour-coded by flight category:

  • Green: VFR
  • Blue: MVFR
  • Red: IFR
  • Purple: LIFR

Click a weather dot for wind, visibility and the raw METAR. A Radar button shows precipitation when you need a quick look at the weather along the way.
